Founder Jenny Maenpaa, LCSW, EdM

What makes Jenny come alive is seeing people realize the unlimited potential within them. When women can take care of themselves personally, their light shines through, and the best version of them shows up professionally. And that version is a badass who stands tall, knows her worth, and lights up the world.

Jenny has worked with a number of organizations that presented challenges and transitions exactly like the ones clients are facing, including: work/life imbalance, unclear upward trajectories, people in positions of power lacking the right skills, flat hierarchies, toxic organizational culture, and low employee morale. Additionally, Forward in Heels has a vast network of referral partners to support clients with additional challenges.

Jenny engages clients to identify and use their strengths to achieve enhanced outcomes. She uses evidence-based practices to backwards plan from future goals, using benchmarks and frequent checks for success. The results speak for themselves, with clients achieving lasting successes. Whether clients are struggling with achieving work/life balance, navigating tough transitions, or facing a combination of personal and professional overlap, Forward in Heels can help.

Jenny holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from New York University, a master's degree in Social Work from Boston College, and a master's degree in Education from Boston University. She is also accredited through the Graduate Certificate in Organizational and Executive Coaching program at New York University and previously held the International Coach Federation's Associate Certified Coach designation.
